Pursuant to the Federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1999, the University of California, Irvine annually makes available to all students, faculty, and staff statistics on the reported occurrences of criminal activity on and off campus and at the UCI Medical Center.
UCI's annual security report includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crime that occurred on campus, in certain off-campus buildings owned and controlled by UCI, at the UCI Medical Center, and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from the campus and Medical Center. The report also includes institutional policies concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
