Credit for 36 units of the last 45 units of work immediately preceding graduation must be earned in residence at the UCI campus.
Students may apply for an exception to this rule either to participate in the Education Abroad Program or if the student has one additional course in a sequence to complete at another college or university. Students need to complete an Undergraduate Petition to request an exception.
