Since you are technically still in the major, it is best to attend faculty advising or you may get a hold on your record.
If you change your major out of engineering prior to your advising date, then you don't need to attend. If you change to a different engineering major, plan on attending the session that you were originally scheduled for unless you get a notice to the contrary.
