Hispanic Scholarship Fund

The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) is the nation's leading organization supporting Hispanic higher education. Founded in 1975, HSF's vision is to strengthen the country by advancing college education among Hispanic Americans. During its 28-year history. HSF has awarded more than 61,000 scholarships in excess of $115 million to Hispanic students who have attended more than 1,700 college and universities. Award amount range from $1,000 to $2,500.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Hispanic heritage (one parent fully Hispanic or each parent half Hispanic)
  • Must have completed 12 units or credits at a U.S.-accredited institution
  • Be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled FULL-TIME in a degree-seeking program at a U.S. accredited college or university
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7

Students should complete the HSF Scholarship Application available from the Hispanic Scholarship Fund website.
