2007-2008 Materials Science Engineering Minor Requirements

Requirements Seven courses are required to graduate with the MSE minor. These courses are divided into two categories:

Required Courses: Engr54, CBEMS 50L, and CBEMS 155; and select two from the following three courses*: CBEMS165, CBEMS 170, and CBEMS 175.

* For students who plan to pursue a graduate degree in MSE, it is hight recommended that they select CBEMS165 in addition to either CBEMS170 or CBEMS175.</dl

Electives: Take two from the following courses: ENGR150, CBEMS154, CBEMS157, CBEMS159, CBEMS160, CBEMS162, CBEMS163, CBEMS166, CBEMS172, CBEMS173, CBEMS174, CBEMS199 (Materials Research; up to four units), EECS170A-V, EECS176, BME110A-B, BME111, MAE157, Chemistry 225, Mathematics 112A (or MAE140), Physics 112A, Physics 133, Physics 135.
